Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Village of Small Things is a participatory collage installation at Wānaka Library by House of Small Things, led by Wānaka artist Hannah Paterson.
Starting with an envelope, use its shape, found images, words and paper fragments to create a house that is playful, personal or entirely imagined. Each house becomes part of a growing village, bringing many distinct inner worlds together in one shared artwork.
The self-guided making station is free to use, with materials provided. No experience is needed.

Pre-School Storytime and Craft Session: Wednesday 4 November, 10:00 am
Drop-in sessions: Mondays 2, 9, 16 and 30 November, 3:00-4:30 pm, in the children's area
Drop-in session for all ages: Saturday 14 November, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
