“Loose & Cool” – Photo Exhibition Creative Spaces Project
Most Rodeo imagery is made on fast cameras capturing the competitors’ and animals' athleticism during the event. This photo series was made on a 1980s Hasselblad 6x6 medium format film camera and explores the atmosphere backstage at the Rodeo whilst the Bull Riders gear up. "Loose & Cool" – is the state a Bull Rider hopes to remain in whilst preparing to ride a bull.
The Creative Spaces Project pairs local creativity with spaces and places across the district this November. A month long exhibition, inviting locals and visitors to discover creativity in unexpected places.
When: Month of November. Opening Night Thursday 5th November 5.30 – 7.30 pm
Where: The Original Homestead – Country Lane Retail Village 26 Hansen road Frankton.
