Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
This piano concert features Beethoven's first sonata, written when he was just 12 years old, and his last, written at the end of his eventful life. Widely regarded as one of the pinnacles of the repertoire, the sonata op.111 is profound and moving work.
