Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
The Singers Workshop was founded in 1995 with a series of group workshops for Beginning Adult Singers - in a supportive, confidence building, and liberating environment. We have since expanded to include Continuing Technique, Harmony and Performance for adults. These workshops are very popular and highly recommended. Whether you are an absolute beginner or you have natural talent but would like to learn proper technique, these workshops will give you confidence, expertise and pleasure with your singing.
The Singers Workshop also run a Youth Academy for young singers who wish to perfect their singing and broaden their understanding and skills in music.
Margaret O'Hanlon also offers private lessons for adults.
