Watercolour Elements is the perfect class for people who are wanting to learn some of the basic skills for watercolour painting. It is the perfect course to build up your foundation as well as a wonderful way to get back into it if you haven't used watercolour for a very long time.

We will be going over washes and their different consistencies; wet on wet, wet on dry and layering. Brush control, colour theory and colour mixing. In addition to that we will explore some of the wonderful effects that you can create with watercolour, working towards a final finished artwork.

Your tutor is Lizzie Thomas who paints under the moniker ellaquaint. She is a registered teacher and has a wealth of knowledge teaching at Secondary School Level as well after school kids classes and adult night classes and workshops. A practicing and exhibiting artist who has work in national and international collections. With over 28 years experience, she is excited to share her knowledge with you :)
