The Feather Craftsman

Based in a small studio in Lake Hawea, Simon, 'The Feather Craftsman', hand ties real feather earrings, lapel pins and hat pins, often using feathers sourced as a by-product from pest control operations in New Zealand and upcycling former fly tiers supplies.

He creates unique designs utilizing only naturally colored feathers which can currently be viewed on Instagram, Facebook and in Wanaka Lakeview Holiday Park reception.
