Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
The 45th Degree are bespoke picture framing specialists with dedicated gallery walls in their Wānaka based studio.
With a rotating exhibition schedule, they showcase a mix of national and international based artists with a focus on diversifying the local art scene.
The 45th Degree is artist owned and operated and has a dedicated staff of makers and creatives. They are passionate about fostering growth, critical thinking and expending the creative offerings available in Wānaka and the broader Central Lakes region.
If you are an artist and have an idea for a project, exhibition, book launch - you name it - get in touch and see if the space is right for you!
There is no gallery-rental fee, though artists are subject to an application process. A small commission may apply to works for sale to cover any advertising, opening event or transaction fees.
