Raquel Carter is an Australian Artist, living in Queenstown with her Kiwi family. Presently an Artist in residence at Te-Atamira gallery, Frankton. Where she teaches art classes and works from her studio. She has a passion for teaching through the power of creativity and the importance of community. With a BFA Hons from the National Art School in Sydney and presently completing an MFA via Dunedin School of Art. Her work intersects between painting, drawing and ceramics.  Inspired deeply by our connection to the natural world, not only the frequency of colour and patterns of nature. Her work also explores the psychic landscapes of the human experience from the bridge between our imagination to our conscious physical experience as a journey within our human form.
