Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Central Otago's first dedicated Art Supplies store. I offer and source professional quality art supplies and a good mix of beautiful stationary such as sketchbooks, pens, sets and gifts. Brands I stock full ranges of include Matisse Structure Acrylic paints, Derivan Printing Inks, both ShinHan Professional and Premium Extra Fine Watercolours, Sennelier Rive Gauche Oil paints (ETA end of June, 2025), Caran D'Ache Luminance Pencils (ETA July) and Borciani Bonazzi brushes. I carry Canson and Fabriano pads/paper and can bring in Arches for those interested. This is not exhaustive, I have a range of other items and brands and can bring in stock on demand for whatever the creative community needs :)
